1. What is DTF (Direct-to-Film) printing and how does it work?

DTF printing, or Direct-to-Film transfer printing, is a cutting-edge method used to apply full-color designs onto a wide range of garments. Your artwork is printed using CMYK + white ink on special PET film, coated with adhesive powder, cured, and then heat-pressed onto fabric. This method produces vibrant, flexible, and long-lasting transfers suitable for cotton, polyester, and blended materials.

2. What types of fabric can your DTF transfers be applied to?

Our premium DTF transfers are compatible with a wide variety of materials including:

  • 100% cotton

3. Do I need a heat press to apply your DTF transfers?

Yes. For best results, we strongly recommend using a commercial-grade heat press machine to apply our DTF transfers.
❌ Cricut EasyPress or household irons are not recommended, as they do not provide the consistent heat and pressure needed for successful application.

4. What are the ideal heat press settings for Prestige DTF Transfers?

To achieve the best results when applying your transfer, use the following settings:

  • Temperature: 325°F (163°C)

  • Time: 20 seconds

  • Pressure: Medium (firm, even pressure)

  • Peel: Cold peel recommended
    After peeling, press for an additional 6 seconds with parchment paper to seal in the design and improve washability.

5. Can I peel the film hot or cold after pressing?

Our DTF transfers are formulated to work with both hot peel and cold peel methods. However, for optimal durability, vibrancy, and ease of use, we suggest allowing the print to cool before peeling. This reduces the risk of lifting edges and ensures a clean transfer.

6. What file format and quality should I use for submitting artwork?

To ensure the highest quality print, please submit artwork that follows these requirements:

  • Format: PNG with a transparent background (mandatory)

  • Resolution: 300 DPI (high resolution for sharp prints)

  • Size: Design must be correctly sized and positioned as desired

  • ❌ No PDFs, JPGs, or design editing requests — we print exactly what you upload.

7. Do you have a gang sheet builder for combining multiple designs?

8. Are there setup fees or minimum order requirements?

No! At Prestige DTF Transfers, we believe in flexibility. That means:

  • ✅ No setup fees

  • ✅ No minimum order quantity (MOQ)
    Order only what you need — whether it's one transfer or 100 feet of gang sheets.

9. How fast will my order be printed and shipped?

We offer fast 24–48 hour turnaround on most orders, Monday through Friday.
Once your artwork is approved and paid, we get straight to production and ship your order promptly from our Port Arthur, TX facility.

10. Can I request rush orders or expedited shipping options?

Yes. We understand that some projects are time-sensitive.

11. How do I track my DTF transfer order once it ships?

After your order is completed and shipped, we will email you a tracking number.
You can use this number to follow the delivery progress through the shipping carrier’s website (e.g., USPS, UPS, FedEx).

12. Are your DTF transfers durable and washable?

Yes — our transfers are designed to last through 50+ washes when applied and cared for properly.
They are:
